The name comes from Sesotho: bopaki — evidence, proof, the foundation of trust. The documented record that holds up under scrutiny. We chose it deliberately, because it is exactly what South African municipalities need most and have had the least of.
Bopaki Group is a South African technology company that builds sovereign digital infrastructure for municipal compliance. Not a generic SaaS vendor retrofitting a foreign product — MCMP was designed from first principles around how SA municipalities actually operate, what the law requires, and what the Auditor-General expects to see.
We understand limited budgets, legacy constraints, and the political pressure of service delivery.
